February 17, 2004, Waltham, MA - Lewtan Technologies, Inc., today announced James D. Burrows has joined the firm as Vice President of Data Services. Mr. Burrows will report to Ira Keller, Lewtan's President.

Mr. Burrows will oversee Lewtan's data acquisition and dissemination activities, including sourcing, analysis, and quality assurance. In addition, he'll be responsible for managing Lewtan's relationship with a range of key partners and vendors, such as Standard & Poor's and Deutsche Bank.

Previously, Mr. Burrows was Vice President of US Production Operations at Thomson Financial in Boston, where he was responsible for five U.S. sites producing financial data. Prior to managing US operations, he was Senior Vice President of Global Operations at First Call Corp. in Boston. Mr. Burrows holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University and a Masters of Library Science degree from Simmons College.
