Lewtan Offers Free Reg AB Webinar on July 18, 2007

Provider of ABS surveillance, analytics, and content will reveal results of first year of Reg AB reporting and answer questions about static-pool reporting

WALTHAM, Massachusetts - July 16, 2007 Lewtan Technologies®, Inc., provider of asset-backed securities surveillance, analytics, and content for the global securitization industry, today announced that it will conduct a webinar entitled "Static-Pool Reporting under Regulation AB: 2006 Year-End Status Report" from 1:00 to 2:00 PM EDT on July 18, 2007. The webinar is available without charge to issuers, issuer attorneys, and journalists and analysts who cover the structured-finance industry.

"Lewtan has reviewed the static-pool reporting tendencies of mortgage and home-equity sponsors since Reg AB went into effect," said Ned Myers, vice president and CMO of Lewtan. Lewtan drew data from more than 60 web sites, 8-K reports, and prospectus filings, so participants can observe commonalities and preferences. Among other subjects, the webinar will cover trends in 1105 reporting seen since Lewtan's last report was completed following the first quarter of 2006, and it will illustrate the most common compliance pitfalls encountered by sponsors.
